The most important feature for extended charters is commercial refrigeration.   Our snap freezer capacity is over 440 kg of fillets.  

This guarantees professional processing and perfect product.  Aboard Black Samurai we have the best commercial refrigeration available and we can snap freeze your valuable fillets in less than 20 mins.  This is your guarantee of quality.

We can offer you three distinct types of fishing and all are available (within reason) in a single charter at your request:

    Reef Fishing  - Coral Trout, Red Emperor etc.

    Sportfishing (Stand-up) - Sailfish, Mackerel, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, GT

    Heavy Tackle - Marlin, Large Tuna, Sharks 

Survey - USL Class 2C Commercial

Maximum passenger load is 12 pax; however for our usual overnight charters we comfortably sleep 4 - 6 passengers.

Black Samurai is specially equipped for long range cruising and fishing the outer Great Barrier Reef.   We travel up to *220 nautical miles (440km) off the Queensland coast to the pristine outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea Territories.

Anchorages are in safe, calm coral lagoons where night fishing is exciting
