Fish the fabulous Ribbon Reefs . . . .  chase the big Blacks from Cairns to Lizard Island

We will be fishing the fabulous Ribbon Reefs based at Lizard Island and alternatively Cooktown in October next year.

 

This is the most consistent area on the planet to catch a "Grander" Black Marlin.  Black Samurai is a boat that regularly raises big fish. If you want to chase your dream of tagging and releasing monster fish, with multiple shots most days, then this expedition is for you.

 

We have a choice of comfortable motherships available. Relax after a day on the water with a coldie, good food and airconditioned accommodation. Anchorages up here are just minutes from the marlin grounds. As marlin fishing begins each day at around 11:00 am, mornings are spent snorkelling, reef fishing or catching bait.

 

We still have 14 days available for Black Marlin expeditions based out of Cooktown for the first two weeks of October, 2010. This is the best month and the best moon phase for the big blacks. Departure available from Cairns on October 1, otherwise departures are ex Cooktown or Lizard Island.
